Our Mission
Bring LIFE to North Dallas through the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
Our Vision
Love God
“Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.” Matthew 22:37-38 NKJV
This principle comes first. If we don’t get this right, nothing else that comes after matters. That’s why in our services we engage in corporate worship, hear the preached Word of God and pray together in response. Because it all comes back to loving God!
Love People
And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:39-40 NKJV
The first and great commandment is to love God, and the second “is like it” and it is to love others. In other words, loving God and loving people is closely connected, and we are called to do both.
Make a Difference
‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ Matthew 25:40 NKJV
Someone once said, “If you lean your ladder up against the wrong building, you can climb all you want but never arrive at the place you wish to be.” You have to lean the ladder in the right place. And what’s the right place?
Making a difference in the life of others. And one of the ways we do that at The Life Church is through the volunteer team – we call them the Dream Team!

Where We Come From
The Life Church began in 1973 in a preschool library on Midway Road. From there, we moved into a garage and then into a house. As the church grew, larger facilities were needed, so a building was purchased and renovated at Midway & Royal in 1994. In 2010, the current facility was completed. Shay & Bridgette Mann became pastors in October of 2013, and prior to their arrival, Bishop V. Arlen Guidroz and his wife Robbie, served the church for 35 years. Bishop Guidroz led with steadiness, vision and love for all. It has been our honor to build upon the foundation he established!
